Since 1998, the Cote Brilliante Presbyterian Housing Corporation (CBPHC) has been a steadfast force for revitalization in North St. Louis City. Established as an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit, our mission is to address the distress caused by deteriorating housing conditions, rising crime, and educational declines in our neighborhoods. We answer these challenges directly by providing high-quality, affordable housing and vital social services to the Greater Ville community. True community transformation requires collaborative action. Driven by a dedicated Board of Directors composed of church leaders, local residents, and skilled professionals, we work hand-in-hand with our neighbors. We are active partners in the Kingsway East Community Organization and the KingsVille Corporation Organization, ensuring that community voices remain the motivating force for lasting change.

 

Our Latest Milestone: The 4700 Labadie Redevelopment

Thanks to overwhelming community support, CBPHC was honored to receive a $1.4 million city grant to perform a complete gut rehab on a vacant apartment building in the Kingsway East neighborhood. Located at 4700 Labadie Ave, this exciting mixed-use development will serve as our new organizational headquarters and, more importantly, a modern, energy-efficient home for four local families. Each two-bedroom apartment is designed to offer dignity, safety, and stability, featuring in-unit laundry facilities, off-street parking, yard space, and direct access to on-site supportive services.
